Photo Retoucher

What are your rates?
Because every image and order is unique, I will need to see high-resolution images with a detailed description of what you would like done. This way I can provide an accurate quote and delivery time estimate. I understand every client has their own retouching needs, requests, and budget; I will work with you to achieve the best results.

Do you offer any discounts on your photo retouching services?
I offer a 10% discount off your first order or discounts off 10+ image orders.

What kind of files do you require to provide a quote or to work on?
Jpeg, Tiff, Psd, and Raw files, the higher the resolution, the better.

How do you accept payments?
I use PayPal and I also accept checks for large orders. You can use your credit or debit card through PayPal without having a PayPal account. Deposits are determined per order and due when the order is placed. PayPal notifies me of all transactions.

What are your terms?
A 50% deposit is required at the beginning of an order. The remaining amount is due within 2 days from the completion of the order. One-image orders are paid in full at the beginning of the order.

How long does it take to retouch an order?
All orders need their own amount of time. For instance, a typical 1-4 image order normally takes 24-48 business hours.

How do I send the images for you to quote or retouch?
You can send the high-resolution images by email to Ra@RaRetouching.com, use your own file transfer service, Dropbox, or WeTransfer.com.

What if I do not want you to use my before and or after images on your website or social media?
I will only use the before or after images if my client agrees to it. I use the before and/or after images on my website and social media. I respect and honor my client’s privacy and confidentiality.

Do you save the final images and for how long?
I hold on to your final order for up to two weeks before deleting.

Is there a minimum per photo retouching order?
Yes. 30 minutes/$31.50 for first-time orders and 30 minutes/$35.00 for additional orders.

Do I need to sign a release?
Yes. An online release form needs to be filled out, signed and is due at the beginning of the order. If there is anything in the release that you are not sure about, please let me know. The release allows me to retouch the images, agrees to my terms and the estimate provided.

How do I receive the proofs?
Proofs are high-resolution Jpeg files emailed or sent via WeTransfer.com. If a high-resolution Psd or Tiff file is requested, there will be a watermark on the file. All proofs include one series of revisions. Additional revisions or requests may alter the estimate.

How do I receive the retouched final images?
Please allow one business day from the time the order is completed and all final payments have been received, for delivery of your completed files by email, Dropbox, or Wetransfer, accompanied by your receipt. I send all retouched images at the end of the order. I am not responsible for sending any images to a third-party besides the paying party or responsible if the files are lost after receiving/downloading. Images will be deleted 14 business days after the order is completed.

Do you provide rush order service?
Yes. There may be a surcharge fee depending on the order and when it is placed. Rush orders are paid in full at the time of placing the order.

What if I want to put my retouching order on hold or cancel?
Once your order is in production, it cannot be canceled or placed on hold. Rush Orders cannot be canceled.

What are your business hours?
Typically, I work Monday through Friday 8-5 PST (Excluding Holidays). If you contact me after business hours, I will respond the next business morning or sooner.
