All photos need retouching, some less than others, but they all do. The right amount of retouching is very important and is different case by case. This image is gorgeous, the model, makeup artist and photographer did a nice job, but just a hint of retouching to make it pop and feel a little less raw, is what it needed. I love a raw feeling, but too raw feels unpolished or less professional looking. You want people to see the image’s beauty, not any distracting flaws that may take a person away from connecting or admiring an image.
